Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead global commercial marketing strategies for assigned Business Units, ensuring alignment with PUMA's overall business objectives.
- Partner with senior leadership, Creative Services, and regional teams to execute marketing strategies, drive innovation, and facilitate local adaptations.
- Leverage e-commerce strategies to ensure a "digital first" approach, with PUMA.com as the "Home of the Brand."
- Place the customer at the center of commercial marketing conversations, utilizing data, regional feedback, and channel expertise to inform decision-making.
- Ensure consistency in messaging and resources across the sales cycle, from "Sell in" to "Sell through," in collaboration with the Commercial Marketing GTM team.
- Foster a consumer experience that is ahead of the curve and aligned with the PUMA brand, embracing an omnichannel approach and phigital mindset.
- Collaborate with key internal stakeholders, including Global Retail Environment, Product Merchandising, Ecom, and Retail, to drive cohesive marketing efforts.
- Utilize topline marketing analytics and data-driven decision-making to optimize marketing performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with creative services leadership, Business Unit teams, and external agencies.
- Manage seasonal and yearly budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation.
- Lead and inspire the commercial marketing team, promoting a culture of positive and empowering behavior, hard work, and collaboration.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
To excel in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field.
- At least 8 years of marketing experience in a sportswear company, retail, or e-commerce environment, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with various teams and stakeholders globally.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated, with a proven ability to work independently.
- Excellent organizational and execution skills, with the ability to work with limited oversight and prioritize tasks effectively.
- A working knowledge of matrixed organizations and the ability to navigate complex business structures.
- Strong understanding of the retail environment, business trends, and competitor marketing activities.
- Ability to lead and manage change, demonstrating creativity, positivity, and good business judgment.
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications will be considered a plus:
- Experience working in a global sportswear company or a similar industry.
- Knowledge of calendar management and deadline-oriented work environments.
- Familiarity with PUMA's business model and marketing strategies.
