**Job Description**
As a Specialty Pharmacy Technician - Data Entry Transplant, you will be an integral part of our CarePlus/Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy team in Atlanta, GA. Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Routing questionable prescriptions to the pharmacist for completion
* Making outbound calls/faxing physicians for prescription clarification, substitutions, and formulary changes
* Working in a high-production environment, multitasking between patient referrals while maintaining excellent customer service
* Collaborating with the pharmacy team to ensure accurate and timely processing of prescriptions
* Providing exceptional patient care and support, addressing concerns and resolving issues in a professional and empathetic manner
**Essential Qualifications**
* 1+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
* Pharmacy Tech Certified in the state of GA
* Strong written and oral communication skills
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
* Strong computer skills, including proficiency in electronic medical records and pharmacy software
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Specialty pharmacy experience
* Call center experience
* Prescription adjudication experience in order to communicate with prescribers regarding case status and assess prescription claim issues
**Education**
* Verifiable High School diploma, GED or equivalent

The typical pay range for this role is:
* Minimum: $17.00
* Maximum: $27.90
