Key Responsibilities
- Provide critical integration support across multiple technology and organization platforms, utilizing business and technical expertise to drive business outcomes.
- Collaborate with Business Architects, Data Modelers, and Technology Platform owners to ensure alignment with Stage Design guides and enterprise standards.
- Focus on cross-platform integration to leverage and optimize platform capabilities, ensuring that the designed environment meets business requirements, application design, and infrastructure needs.
- Perform proactive solution architecture design work and participate in design and code reviews to ensure delivery of desired business results and adherence to enterprise guidelines.
- Offer input and practical guidance on the Technology Platform's API strategy and execution roadmap.
- Work closely with Business and Data Engineers to align and integrate their contributions into platform solutions.
- Mentor and coach engineering resources on solution architecture, providing counsel, mentorship, and support to less experienced colleagues as needed.
- Identify opportunities for adopting innovative technologies and process improvements that support business and IT strategic direction.
- Collaborate with peers and product engineering teams to share and guide architecture practices that may impact business solution delivery.
- Provide structural leadership, evaluating projects to ensure alignment with architecture and technical strategy by driving Technology Platform to Stage Engineering Review (Standard) certification level.
- Advise product delivery resources on the optimal timing for engaging dependent teams, such as database engineering teams.
- Ensure accurate resource data is reported and maintained in the appropriate repositories for the assigned portfolio.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on programming experience relevant to the assigned Technology Platform in a professional environment.
- Advanced hands-on experience with application solution architecture design and end-to-end software development of complex distributed (multi-tiered) systems.
- A deep understanding of various IT disciplines, with a proven track record of implementing design concepts (business, data, technical, and solution).
- Broad experience using a systems analysis and design methodology that is pertinent to an agile product environment.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field; a postgraduate degree is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
While not mandatory, the following qualifications can enhance your candidacy:
- Experience with GraphQL, APIs, intelligent payment routing decision engines, ISO20022 frameworks, AI/ML-driven data pipelines, and fluid integrators with Global Payment Systems and the banking ecosystem.
- A background in FinTech or a related industry, with a keen understanding of the latest technological trends and innovations.
