Job Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and results-driven Senior US IT Technical Recruiter with a proven track record of working with direct clients and Tier 1 or Prime Vendors. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in US IT technical recruitment, with a strong understanding of the US job market, tax terms, and visa classification rules. As a Senior US IT Technical Recruiter, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and submitting top IT talent to our clients, ensuring that candidates meet the required skills and qualifications. This is a remote position, with potential travel to the US on a B1 visa and possible relocation to Pune or Bangalore in the future.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with your manager and Tier 1/Prime Vendors to understand key requirements for positions and develop effective recruitment strategies.
• Source best-matching profiles from various channels, including social media, job boards, and professional networks, and filter out prospects to compile a list of top candidates.
• Ensure that potential candidates have the necessary IT skills to meet client needs, and screen sourced candidates to determine their competency.
• Submit consultant profiles to Direct Clients, Prime/Tier 1 Vendors, and coordinate with candidates to understand their skills and inform them about requirements.
• Negotiate and confirm rates with consultants before submitting their CVs to vendors, and interact with Tier 1/Prime vendors to develop a strong network and ensure minimum turnaround time for consultant placement.
• Update stakeholders on screenings, interviews, and post-interview aspects, including follow-up with vendors for interview feedback.

Essential Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, candidates, and stakeholders.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in US IT technical recruitment, with a strong focus on working with Tier 1/Prime vendors.
• Good knowledge of US tax terms, including C2C, W2, and 1099, as well as visa classification terms, rules, and policies, such as H1B, OPT, CPT, and EAD.
• Proficiency in using social media, job boards, and professional networks to source profiles and build an internal database of passive candidates.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment, with a results-oriented approach and strong self-starter mentality.
• Hands-on experience with platforms like Indeed, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms, as well as job boards like Dice, Monster, and LinkedIn.

Preferred Qualifications

• Some knowledge of US Staffing Bench Sales and experience working with direct clients and Tier 1 vendors.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as human resources, business administration, or a related field.
• Certifications or training in recruitment, talent acquisition, or a related field, such as AIRS, CPRW, or CIR.
