About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Statistics Architect to join our team, focusing on the transformation and innovation of our end-to-end Voice of the Customer method. As a key member of our team, you will assist in the development and maintenance of our new Voice of the Customer technique, sourced from Cornerstone and integrated with the survey and dashboard platform hosted by Qualtrics, our survey vendor. You will work closely with product and process owners, subject matter specialists from Qualtrics, and the Agile team in technology to drive this initiative forward.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the application teams to outline, frame, and capture business needs, leveraging your expertise in Voice of the Customer methods to define and transform data within the Cornerstone big data platform.
- Design and build a robust data model architecture to aid most fulfilling data processing and standardized metric definitions, ensuring data quality and accuracy through extensive testing at variable and use case levels.
- Enable big data and batch/real-time analytical solutions leveraging transformational technologies (Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, and Python) to deliver innovative solutions, driving efficiency in computing programs using the big data ecosystem.
- Provide guidance to enhance competencies, power customer tale evaluation & elaboration, design and development of software programs, testing & builds automation tools, and proactively identify and automate manual tasks to improve best practices and efficiency.
- Collaborate with partners from GSN and AET to prioritize, define, increase, and test the statistics for various use cases as part of the VOC end-to-end technique, ensuring seamless integration and effective delivery.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Hands-on development experience on Hive/Hadoop, PySpark, Python, Shell Scripting languages, development launch management, and troubleshooting understanding for data-driven projects for a span of no less than 3+ years.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies of delivery, where small increments of a product are introduced at regular intervals to the business groups, and experience working with dating managers/product owners to understand functional requirements and convert them into technical deliverables.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive results.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Experience working with big data platforms and technologies, such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes, with experience in designing and implementing data architectures.
- Familiarity with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS or Azure, and experience working with containerization tools like Docker.
