Experienced Senior Manager, Marketing Analytics – American Express Marketing Team Leader, Driving Business Growth through Data-Driven Insights and Strategic Decision Making

We are now seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Marketing Analytics to join our team and contribute to the development of our marketing analytics capabilities. About the Role As a Senior Manager, Marketing Analytics, you will be responsible for leading the analysis and interpretation of complex data sets to inform marketing strategies and optimize campaign performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and sales, to identify opportunities for growth and develop targeted marketing initiatives. Your expertise in marketing analytics will enable us to make data-driven decisions, drive business outcomes, and enhance the overall customer experience. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive marketing analytics strategies to drive business growth and optimize campaign performance Lead the analysis and interpretation of complex data sets, including customer behavior, market trends, and campaign metrics Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for growth and develop targeted marketing initiatives Provide data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership to inform marketing strategies and optimize campaign performance Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure campaign effectiveness Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in marketing analytics, and apply this knowledge to continuously improve our marketing analytics capabilities Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Analytics, Statistics, or a related field At least 5 years of experience in marketing analytics, with a proven track record of driving business growth through data-driven insights and strategic decision making Strong expertise in marketing analytics tools and technologies, including SQL, data visualization tools, and statistical modeling techniques Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to distill complex data insights into clear, concise stories for senior leadership Strong collaborative and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders Preferred Qualifications In addition to the essential qualifications, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset: Advanced degree in Marketing, Analytics, Statistics, or a related field Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities Knowledge of emerging technologies in marketing analytics, such as machine learning and artificial intelligence Experience with cloud-based data platforms and tools, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and develop insights-driven recommendations Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to distill complex data insights into clear, concise stories for senior leadership Strong collaborative and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of marketing principles and practices Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At American Express, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
