Key Responsibilities
- Analyze client needs and identify areas of improvement, leveraging data analysis and statistical modeling to inform strategic decision-making
- Develop and implement data-driven solutions to drive business growth, including designing and testing new product features, marketing campaigns, and business operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, and engineering, to design and implement data-driven strategies
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to stakeholders
- Inform and update stakeholders on product performance, plans, and progress towards metrics
- Define data testing plans and develop strategies to assist teams in iterating quickly and delivering new features for testing and rollout
- Focus the product roadmap on achieving key metrics and making ruthless decisions about what to do (and what not to do)
- Develop and dive deep on consumer experiences and competitive intelligence to assist teams in driving product development and growth
- Assist teams in understanding and absorbing consumer insights, preferences, and inclinations, and how these impact the product/testing roadmap
- Build strong relationships with product, design, engineering, and marketing teams and enable them to launch new growth drives for testing/emphasis
- Provide input to product and engineering teams on the impact of product launches, including target launch metrics, A|B testing, and post-launch metrics
Essential Qualifications
- Master's degree in a highly quantitative field (Computer Science, Statistics, Math, Analytics, Data Science)
- Proficiency in Python and SQL
- Experience working in the financial sector
- Data analysis and generating insights for consumer-centered businesses
- Knowledge of query development and data ETL
- Experience with big data technologies like Hive, Hadoop, MapReduce, Spark, etc.
- Machine learning skills, including cluster analysis, neural networks, predictive modeling
- Experience using statistical techniques, including correlation analysis, design of experiments, linear and nonlinear regressions, logistic regression, sampling and resampling techniques, time series, and longitudinal analysis
