Key Responsibilities
- Leadership and Team Development: Lead and develop teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates. Provide feedback and coaching to ensure that teams are equipped to deliver exceptional customer service and drive business results.
- Customer Service: Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards, following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model. Ensure that customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved, and develop action plans to correct deficiencies.
- Financial Performance and Sales: Drive the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating P&L statements, managing expenses, and developing action plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales and profit goals.
- Supervision and Development: Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, and assigning duties. Ensure that associates are equipped to deliver exceptional customer service and drive business results.
- Compliance and Ethics: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, supporting the company's mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity. Implement related action plans and provide direction and guidance on applying these in executing business processes and practices.
Essential Qualifications
- 2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Ability to lead and develop high-performing teams, drive business excellence, and provide exceptional customer service.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
- Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
- General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including responsibility for performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
