Job Summary

We're looking for a talented Retail Customer Service Associate to join our team at blithequark. As a key member of our retail store team, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, providing expert knowledge of our printing, shipping, and graphics products and services, and operating a variety of equipment to ensure seamless operations. Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by utilizing consultative skills to anticipate customer needs, suggest alternatives, and find solutions to meet customer needs.
• Demonstrate expert knowledge of blithequark's printing, shipping, and graphics products and services, and recommend appropriate solutions to customers.
• Operate and maintain a wide variety of equipment, including printing, binding, and shipping equipment.
• Manage complex projects, prioritize tasks, and maintain a safe, clean, and orderly retail store environment.
• Process financial transactions using a Point of Sale terminal (POS), including handling cash and making change.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer data and handle documents, media, and packages with care.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals, improve customer satisfaction, and drive business results.
• Stay current on blithequark's merchandising materials and ensure proper display of all retail area product and signage.
• Take preemptive action to prevent errors and waste, and suggest areas for improvement in internal processes.

Essential Qualifications and Requirements

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent education required.
• 6+ months of specialized experience in customer service, retail, or a related field.

Skills and Competencies

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to stand during entire shift, excluding meal and rest periods.
• Ability to move and lift 55 pounds.
• Ability to bend/twist at the waist and knees on a consistent basis.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and team members.
• Ability to perform work activities requiring cooperation and instruction.
