Key Responsibilities
As a Data Entry Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Managing multiple databases to ensure accurate record-keeping and data organization, with a focus on attention to detail and data integrity.
- Entering grant data accurately into NRS to meet monthly, quarterly, and year-end deadlines, requiring excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Maintaining accurate records and following required procedures and practices for attendance and assessment data, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Ensuring data security in compliance with FERPA, with a strong understanding of data protection principles and best practices.
- Conducting regular error checks and data clean-up in NRS to ensure accurate reporting and identify areas for improvement.
- Organizing and prioritizing tasks to meet all local, state, and program deadlines, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Monitoring and evaluating student outcomes, including pre/post testing with state-mandated assessments, to inform program development and improvement.
- Participating in staff meetings and professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry trends.
- Performing administrative tasks, such as scanning documents, labeling items, inventorying supplies, and preparing mailings.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- High school diploma or GED required, with a strong foundation in office practices and procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Office Software, with a focus on Excel and data management.
- Excellent typing skills and accuracy, with the ability to work efficiently and effectively in a remote setting.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cooperatively with others and provide excellent customer service.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, with minimal supervision and guidance.
