About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to join our team. This is a remote contract position open to candidates residing anywhere in the United States, with a preference for those in the PT or MT time zones. The contract is for 6-8 months, with the possibility of extension. As a Data Entry Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our dental insurance claims processing operations, ensuring accurate and timely entry of data into our systems. You will be provided with a Chromebook for work use and will undergo comprehensive training to ensure proficiency in our systems and compliance with HIPAA policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform data entry tasks related to dental insurance claims processing, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Download and upload images from a client portal to the Overjet portal, maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive patient information.
- Adhere to HIPAA policies and maintain data security, ensuring the integrity of patient data.
- Work collaboratively with our team to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Meet productivity and quality standards, ensuring timely completion of tasks and maintaining high levels of accuracy.
Essential Qualifications
- Prior experience in data entry, preferably in a healthcare or dental insurance setting.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, with a high level of organizational skills.
- Reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace that meets HIPAA requirements.
- Ability to work core US business hours, preferably in PT or MT time zones, and commit to working 8 hours a day, 5 days a week.
- Ability to comply with HIPAA policies and maintain data security, ensuring the confidentiality of sensitive patient information.

- Familiarity with dental insurance claims or healthcare data entry, with a strong understanding of industry terminology and concepts.
- Experience working with electronic health records (EHRs) or other healthcare software systems.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
We offer a competitive hourly rate of $30.00 - $40.00 per hour, with the possibility of extension beyond the initial contract.
