As a remote customer service specialist, you'll be part of a talented team that shares your passion for delivering exceptional results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. **Key Responsibilities** As a Remote Customer Service Specialist, you'll be responsible for: * Answering and handling calls regarding accounts and other related questions, utilizing appropriate compliance and security measures to identify customers and protect against fraud * Actively listening and asking questions to determine customer needs, ensuring proper routing of calls and/or presentation of solutions to their inquiries * Collecting on assigned delinquent accounts in a timely and effective manner, within established guidelines * Documenting all communications and transactions of material manner with customers * Protecting the confidentiality of all aspects of arenaflex's operations, portfolio, customer information, and computer technology * Working knowledge of state and federal laws applicable to collections, including FDCPA, TCPA, and Rees-Levering among others * Actively participating in team meetings to improve workflows, collection processes, and department efficiencies **Additional Responsibilities** * Working effectively in a high-pressure, high-volume environment * Displaying professionalism and empathy * Handling customer questions with a goal of resolving all issues within first contact/call * Demonstrating strong verbal and written communication skills * Referencing available services to meet customers' needs * Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Suite products * Contributing to department projects as assigned * Other related duties as business needs arise **Essential Qualifications** To succeed in this role, you'll need: * 1-2 years of experience in customer service, collections, or a related field * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a high-pressure, high-volume environment * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Proficiency in Microsoft Suite products, including Excel, Word, and Outlook * Familiarity with state and federal laws applicable to collections * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive customer information **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience in the auto finance industry or a related field * Certification in collections or customer service * Familiarity with CRM software and other relevant tools * Experience working in a remote or virtual environment * Strong knowledge of compliance and security measures **Skills and Competencies** To excel in this role, you'll need: * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, high-volume environment * Strong empathy and professionalism * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive customer information * Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Suite products * Familiarity with CRM software and other relevant tools **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their skills.
