You'll be responsible for analyzing data to identify trends and performance metrics, and using your findings to develop and implement process improvements that support our organization's objectives, including maintaining low costs, modernizing our operations, and improving compliance. **Key Responsibilities:** * Perform and assist others in the Quality Control group in ideal data collection, validation, and root cause analysis on data components. * Help with creating and presenting results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical clients and leaders. * Assist with exploring ad-hoc requests arising from emerging maintenance issues and provide logical answers to enable Senior Leaders to make business decisions while adjusting existing project responsibilities. * Present insights, patterns, and potential recommendations by using data visualization tools supporting the relevant marks of the investigation to ease partner understanding. * Help with creating and disseminating specific queries to pull and coordinate data from various sources, establishing the rhythm, and approving the need of the data requirements. * Identify irregularities in processes through reviews/audits and convey findings to the team. * Assess the effectiveness of processes and methods by observing for patterns and errors * Ensure that a compliance mindset is at the forefront of every decision * May perform other work duties as directed by Group Leader. **Essential Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as data analysis, statistics, or a related field. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze large datasets with care and accuracy. * Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively listen, understand, and convey ideas and present findings in writing, verbally, or through presentations to diverse audiences. * Ability to evaluate business issues, identify valuable opportunities for data needs, and interpret resulting metrics. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a strong understanding of data visualization tools and technologies, such as Tableau, Alteryx, and QuickBase. * Ability to grasp the issue, summarize, and perform root cause analysis on data, and provide recommendations using logic and reasoning. * Willingness to use PowerPoint to build presentations for verbal communications. * Past internship, capstone projects, and research coursework is a plus. * Ability to work independently in a team-oriented, help-oriented climate. * Ability to focus on responsibilities seriously and be a self-motivated individual. * Past internship experience in a related field is a plus. * Ability to manage sensitive and confidential data appropriately. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience with data analysis software, such as R, Python, or SQL. * Familiarity with data visualization tools, such as Power BI or D3.js. * Experience with process improvement methodologies, such as Six Sigma or Lean. * Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines. * Strong understanding of data governance and compliance principles. **What We Offer:** * Competitive salary of $28/hour * Opportunity to work with a world-renowned airline and contribute to the growth and development of our organization * Flexible work environment, with the option to work from home or in our Dallas, TX office * Free, unlimited space available travel benefits for yourself (assessments and expenses may apply on international travel) * Access to cutting-edge technology and tools to support your work * Opportunities for professional growth and development, including training and mentorship programs * Collaborative and dynamic work environment with a team of experienced professionals * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance and contributions to the organization **How to Apply:** If you're a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for data analysis and process improvement, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
