About the Position
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Production Manager/Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team at blithequark. Key Responsibilities
- Engineer and manage a wide variety of jobs/projects from start to finish, including interpreting customer requirements, developing and managing timelines throughout the production process, and ensuring quality throughout the process.
- Effectively manage communications with sales representatives, customers, outside services, and internal departments to ensure seamless collaboration and timely project completion.
- Responsible for ensuring job specifications are clearly communicated to all departments, interpreting customer purchase orders/instructions accurately, and providing clear, detailed instructions to the manufacturing team.
- Demonstrate a basic understanding of all printing departments, including:
- Digital Department
- Prepress
- Press Room
- Bindery
- Shipping
- Mailing
- Manage jobs to estimated costs and ensure each is handled in the most cost-efficient manner, optimizing resources and minimizing waste.
- May include other duties as assigned by management, requiring flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

- Strong mailing and variable data experience, with knowledge of postal rules and regulations, and the ability to apply this knowledge to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial print and direct mail lettershop, with a proven track record of success in a similar role.
