Job Summary

In this role, you will be liable for the execution of medical services methodologies and driving patient wellbeing results. You will execute patient intervention pharmacy programs, ensure compliance with clinical pharmacy services, and drive pharmacy financial performance by implementing pharmacy projects to maximize reimbursements while improving patient health outcomes. Additionally, you will be responsible for processing prescriptions from a remote setting, cultivating strong relationships with clinical communities, and serving as a representative and contact for the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out direct patient care programs, including but not limited to Drug Therapy Management programs, Vaccination Services, and Payer and Pharma Adherence and Clinical Projects.
• Drive the execution of various policies and procedures to ensure business needs are being met.
• Drive compliance and continuous quality improvement in the delivery of clinical pharmacy patient care and services by examining, evaluating, and redesigning processes; monitoring and analyzing results; and implementing changes.
• Ensure region pharmacies comply with regulatory compliance, standard operating procedures, and FDA guidelines.
• Drive local pharmacy financial performance by aligning business strategies to company financial objectives.
• Implement and execute patient intervention pharmacy projects to maximize financial performance.
• Support efforts on improving patient experience by increasing focus on healthcare services (e.g., patient consultation, medication management, drug therapy reviews, and retail, clinical, or health services, such as vaccinations, disease state management, and Specialty programs).
• Provide expertise, resources, education, and support to pharmacists and field leadership.
• Conduct data and clinical reviews and making strategic moves to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of prescriptions.
• Review drug records and patient profiles to ensure proper and safe medication treatment.
• Provide individualized patient/provider consultation.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy and a current Pharmacist license as conceded by the appropriate state licensing authority. You should also have experience inspiring colleagues to research and resolve issues, working with confidential information, and using time utilization skills, such as prioritizing/organizing and following details and meeting deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Willingness to acquire other state pharmacy licenses if necessary.
• Knowledge of insurance plans.
• Knowledge of computer operating systems, including Radio, Commitment, and Plus.
• Basic level skill in Microsoft Excel (e.g., opening a workbook, inserting a row, selecting font and size, formatting cells as currency, using copy, paste, and save functions, adjusting text, selecting cells, renaming a worksheet, inserting a column, selecting a chart style, inserting a worksheet, setting borders, selecting page orientation, using spell check, or printing worksheets).
• Basic level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint (e.g., inserting, editing, hiding, and deleting slides, navigating between slides, expanding list level, adding, centering, and editing text, changing views, inserting a table or a note, moving objects, printing frame view, or running a slide show).
• Basic level skill in Microsoft Word (e.g., opening a document, cutting, copying, and editing text, selecting font type and size, changing margins and paragraph width, formatting, inserting shots, pictures, and dates, using find and replace, fix, spell check, track changes, review sheet, or print functions).
