Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacist Centralized Services professional to join our team at blithequark. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for executing medical services methodologies, driving patient well-being results, and ensuring consistency of clinical pharmacy services. You will also be responsible for implementing patient intervention pharmacy programs, driving pharmacy financial performance, and maintaining current knowledge of the pharmacy industry. Key Responsibilities
- Execute patient intervention pharmacy programs and ensure consistency of clinical pharmacy services
- Drive pharmacy financial performance by implementing pharmacy programs to maximize reimbursements while improving patient well-being results
- Process prescriptions from a remote setting and maintain accurate records
- Cultivate strong relationships with clinical communities in assigned regions and serve as a representative and contact for blithequark
- Provide expertise, resources, education, and support to pharmacists and field initiatives
- Conduct data and clinical reviews and make strategic decisions to ensure the accuracy and appropriateness of prescriptions
- Review drug records and patient profiles to ensure proper and safe medication treatment
- Provide individualized patient/supplier consultation and give feedback concerning the effectiveness of the Client Maintenance Program
- Answerable for all inquiries, discussions, and gives which relate directly to patient treatment
- Provide clinical advice and information to patients, physicians, and insurance plans as needed
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- Current Pharmacist license as conferred by the appropriate state licensing authority
- Experience motivating colleagues to research and resolve issues
- Experience working with confidential information
- Able to work non-standard hours, which may include evenings, holidays, and/or weekends
- Experience using time management skills, such as prioritizing/organizing and following details and meeting deadlines of multiple tasks with varying completion dates
- Experience creating ways to achieve goals with minimal supervision, relying on oneself to complete objectives, and knowing when to escalate issues
- Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
- Able to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state)
Preferred Qualifications
The following preferred qualifications will make you a more competitive candidate for this role:
- Willingness to acquire other state pharmacy licenses if necessary
- Knowledge of insurance plans
- Knowledge of computer operating systems, including Radio, Commitment, and Plus
- Basic level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: opening a workbook, inserting a row, selecting font and size, formatting cells as currency, using copy, paste, and save functions, adjusting text, selecting cells, renaming a worksheet, inserting a column, selecting a chart style, inserting a worksheet, setting borders, selecting page orientation, using spell check or possibly printing worksheets)
- Basic level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint (for example: inserting, editing, hiding, and deleting slides, navigating between slides, expanding list level, adding, centering, and editing text, changing views, inserting a table or a note, moving objects, printing frame view or possibly running a slide show)
- Basic level skill in Microsoft Word (for example: opening a document, cutting, copying, and editing text, selecting font type and size, changing margins and column width, formatting, inserting shots, pictures, and dates, using find and replace, fix, spell check, track changes, review sheet, or possibly print functions)
