Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Part-Time Remote Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a Customer Service Representative (CSR), you will play a vital role in ensuring our clients receive exceptional service and support. You will be responsible for assisting both new and existing customers by answering questions, processing changes to policies, handling billing inquiries, and supporting sales efforts when needed. Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to policyholders via phone, email, and in-person interactions, ensuring prompt and professional responses to all inquiries and concerns
- Assist clients with policy changes, billing inquiries, claims, and general insurance questions, providing clear and concise explanations of policy details and available options
- Educate clients on available coverages, products, and discounts, helping them make informed decisions about their insurance needs
- Maintain accurate records in our CRM and carrier systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with agents and producers to ensure seamless customer experience, providing timely and effective communication and support
- Support retention efforts by identifying opportunities for cross-selling and upselling, promoting blithequark's products and services to meet clients' evolving needs
- Translate documents and communicate with Spanish-speaking clients to ensure full understanding of policy details, providing language support and facilitating effective communication
Essential Qualifications
- 4-40 Customer Service License, required
- 1+ years of experience in an insurance customer service role, required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities, able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable learning new software, with a strong technical aptitude and willingness to adapt to new systems and tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual in Portuguese, preferred
- Experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with a proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Knowledge of insurance products and services, with a strong understanding of policy details and available options
- Previous experience working in a customer-facing role, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and support
