Position Overview

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Part-Time Graphic Designer / Assistant Graphic Designer who is passionate about design and eager to contribute to our branding and marketing efforts. You will work closely with our Lead Designer, Amelia, on a wide variety of design projects, including digital and print media. What The Role Will Be Like

As a Part-Time Graphic Designer at Workwarp, you will play a key role in elevating our branding and marketing efforts, working across platforms to ensure visual consistency and quality. You will collaborate with our Lead Graphic Designer to create visually appealing designs for digital and print media, including special projects and custom requests. Your attention to detail and ability to work independently will be essential in delivering high-quality work on time, while your strong communication skills will enable effective collaboration with team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Lead Graphic Designer to create visually appealing designs for digital and print media, ensuring consistency with our brand guidelines.
• Collaborate with the Lead Graphic Designer on special projects and custom requests, ensuring all deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines.
• Create and replicate simple, black outline illustrations in line with our current branding style, demonstrating your understanding of design principles and typography.
• Design dynamic, branded YouTube thumbnails for our channels: Harkla and All Things Sensory, showcasing your ability to create engaging visual content.
• Develop social media posts and reels using Canva templates, as well as create custom social media content upon request from the content team, highlighting your proficiency in Canva and social media design.
• Assist with web-related tasks, including webpage design and layout needs, utilizing your knowledge of web design principles and Adobe Suite.
• Support the creation of custom Meta Ads (both static and video) to effectively promote our physical and digital products, demonstrating your understanding of effective Meta ad creation and design.
• Edit and review digital Canva-based PDFs created by our in-house therapists for digital courses, ensuring high standards of quality and attention to detail.
• Utilize GemPages in Shopify to assist with the creation of landing pages for sales promotions and other initiatives, showcasing your ability to work with e-commerce platforms and design tools.
• Maintain a high attention to detail, ensuring all designs are polished and error-free, and incorporate feedback from team members to refine and improve designs.
• Maintain a consistent visual style across all projects, adhering to brand guidelines and demonstrating your understanding of our brand identity.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, preferably in a freelance or part-time capacity, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of design skills and projects.
• Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory, with the ability to apply these principles to create visually appealing designs.
• Proficient in Adobe Suite, particularly Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign, with the ability to utilize these tools to create high-quality designs.
• Proficient using Canva for design and marketing projects, with the ability to create custom social media content and edit digital Canva-based PDFs.
• Background in physical and digital marketing, with a strong understanding of effective Meta ad creation and design, and the ability to apply this knowledge to create engaging visual content.
• Exceptional attention to detail, with a perfectionist approach to design and a commitment to delivering high-quality work on time.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members, with a positive and proactive approach to feedback and constructive criticism.
