About the Role
Citywide Home Mortgage is seeking an experienced Loan Processor to join our dynamic team in NJ/PA supporting Top 1% Producers. In this critical role, you’ll be the engine behind our loan operations—ensuring files move efficiently and accurately through the pipeline while delivering a 5-star experience to borrowers and internal teams alike.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage a high-volume loan pipeline with precision and urgency.
· Act as the primary liaison between borrowers, loan officers, underwriters, and closers.
· Collect and review borrower documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
· Submit files to underwriting and follow through to closing ensuring compliance.
· Monitor key milestones such as closing dates, contingency deadlines, and locks.
· Proactively identify and resolve issues to avoid delays and ensure timely closings.
· Support complex or escalated files and assist in restructuring loans when needed.
· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry guidelines and regulatory requirements.
· Foster a collaborative, team-first environment focused on client satisfaction.
Qualifications
· 5+ years of experience in retail mortgage processing, preferably in Encompass.
· Expertise in Conventional, Jumbo, NON-QM, Government, and HECM loan products.
· Strong understanding of income, asset, and loan structuring guidelines.
· Proficiency with Encompass LOS, pricing engines, and pipeline management tools.
· Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
· Proven ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet tight deadlines independently.
