Job Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to join our IT Offices Group. As an IT Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in providing IT management services, project management, and support to ensure the functional sustainability of our critical infrastructure that supports our airport communication spaces. Key Responsibilities
- Provide IT management services, project management, and support to ensure the functional sustainability of our critical infrastructure that supports our airport communication spaces
- Manage and operate all site implementations, inventories, infrastructure planning, accompanying, preventive maintenance, and break/fix services for data center critical infrastructure, IT certification labs, and remote communication room critical climate hardware
- Provide IT support to IT labs to align our customer application and engineering teams with workstations, equipment, and access to test their applications
- Coordinate remotely with professional services responsible for critical infrastructure maintenance and break-fix activities at remote communication rooms
- Manage, operate, maintain, and monitor all critical facilities infrastructure for data center and remote communication room equipment
- Develop data center and remote communication room standards for space, power, cooling, and physical layer IT infrastructure
- Support IT Offices campus fiber ring to maintain the integrity and service continuity of the Atlanta airport and campus facilities underground fiber ring
- Propose and implement departmental policies, guidelines, standards, and procedures
- Ensure compliance with all governing corporate policies and regulations
- Manage project management of data center and remote communication room standards capital upgrades, renovations, and improvements
- Determine IT and critical facilities services, ensuring accurate documentation, getting the best prices for products and services, and ensuring that vendors fulfill their contractual obligations
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong foundation in IT and business analysis, as well as excellent communication and project management skills. The minimum qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Knowledge of data center technology and critical facilities systems
- Project management experience with remote communication room standards capital enhancements, updates, and upgrades
- Capital budgeting and project management for airport critical equipment life cycle replacement
- Support of Corporate Real Estate projects that interface with remote communication room design/work as an IT Offices representative and on-site evaluation reporting
- Space, UPS power, and critical cooling capacity management
- Selection of critical facilities services, ensuring accurate documentation, getting the best prices for products and services, and ensuring that vendors fulfill their contractual obligations
- Manages the design, implementation, and vendor support of the appropriate electrical power, A/C, fire suppression, security, floor maintenance, and cabling programs for communication rooms
- Provides proactive and break-fix support for alert/ticket remediation related to facilities, remote communication rooms, lab, and data center equipment
- Operational sustainability of airport critical climate infrastructure
- Develops Plan Guidelines for Remote Communication Room Space, UPS, air conditioning, Generators, and Fire Life and Safety (FLS) systems
- Remote coordination of airport critical infrastructure maintenance and break-fix activities
- Reviews/Stores Support Records, ensuring inconsistencies are remediated
- Provides remote Incident Management resolution to airport critical equipment
- Provides remote installation, configuration, and operational support
- Maintains strict adherence to change control activities
- Balances multiple priorities within established time limits
- Flexibility to support an operation with varying shifts, extended hours, and on-call requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Consistently prioritizes the safety and security of self, others, and personal data
- Embraces diverse individuals, thinking, and styles
- Has a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency
Preferred Qualifications
In addition to the essential qualifications, we are looking for candidates who have:
- A bachelor's degree or 5 or more years of relevant experience
- Trade School Graduate
- IT Project Management experience with (at least 2 years) in a high-availability communication room and/or data center operating environment, daily operational requirements, and the operation of production systems and equipment
