Job Summary
As an Insurance Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be responsible for managing client relationships, processing policy updates, and ensuring accurate documentation. You will work closely with our team to provide exceptional client service, address coverage and billing inquiries, and contribute to the growth and success of our agency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Communication and Relationship Management: Support clients reporting claims on current policies by gathering all necessary documentation and providing clear explanations of policy updates and changes.
- Policy Administration: Record policy updates or changes on customer accounts, track them in our book of business, and communicate with clients to ensure they understand any updates to their coverage.
- Renewal Process and Policy Updates: Assist with the renewal process and policy updates by providing competitive quotes and ensuring seamless transitions.
- Coverage and Billing Inquiries: Provide clear answers to clients on coverage or billing questions, including information on rate fluctuations or policy changes.
- Industry Knowledge and Updates: Stay up-to-date with industry standards, current rates, coverages, insurance products, insurance policies, and carriers by regularly communicating with industry partners.
- Client Coverage Needs Assessment: Review current client coverage needs to determine if updates or changes are warranted.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Process and document calls, emails, and policy updates in our secured system.
Essential Qualifications:
- Insurance License: Must have an active insurance license in Minnesota or be willing to obtain one within 30 days.
- Communication and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and follow-up skills.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Insurance Experience: Insurance experience as an insurance agent or in a related role is preferred, but not required; we provide training for the right candidate.
