Job Summary The HRIS Data Analyst and Reporting Specialist will be responsible for providing data analysis and reporting support to the Human Resources department. This will include producing standard queries and reports, analyzing employee-related data, and making recommendations for process improvements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, reporting, and HRIS systems, as well as excellent communication and customer service skills. Key Responsibilities - Produces standard queries and reports, and analyzes employee-related data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement - Consults with business customers to understand data and reporting needs, and makes recommendations for process improvements - Provides structure configuration help, coordination, and maintenance of structure functionality - Prepares user test plans and communicates them to stakeholders - Researches and approves system access based on security protocols and guidelines - Guides troubleshooting of systems and coordinates implementation and releases - Executes test scripts for testing of new data elements and releases, and files and analyzes test results - Develops system and procedure documentation to support communication of new procedures or implementations, and to support user training - Works with appropriate parties within HR, IT, Finance, Payroll, and other relevant departments to assist in providing strong and well-supported data integrations among relevant systems - Performs routine data quality checks to identify data issues and reports them to HRIS Management - Consults with end-users on basic to mid-level reporting solutions, and determines how data can be used to support user reporting needs and business decisions Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, or a High School Diploma/GED and at least three years of experience studying and reporting data. You will also need to have experience configuring, enhancing, and testing HRIS systems, including SAP/EC. Additionally, you will need to have intermediate-level skills in Microsoft Excel, and be willing to travel up to 5% of the time for business purposes. Preferred Qualifications Preferred qualifications for this role include experience using primary-level skills in SQL or other report-writing applications, as well as experience with project management, time management, and technical communication. You will also need to have knowledge of Human Resources concepts, practices, and techniques associated with areas such as Benefits, Payroll, Employee Relations, Performance Management, and Training. Basic-level skills in Microsoft Access, PowerPoint, and Word are also preferred.
