Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and skilled HR Shared Services Specialist to join our dynamic team at arenaflex. As the first point of contact for all HR inquiries, you will play a vital role in partnering with regional and local HR teams to deliver accurate and timely solutions. Your expertise in managing Workday transactions and data input will ensure employee information integrity, while supporting HR initiatives that empower employees to do their best work.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary contact for HR-related inquiries, providing resolutions efficiently and accurately, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Maintain and ensure the accuracy of employee data through effective management of HR systems and processes, including Workday HCM tools.
- Support company-wide HR programs, ensuring smooth execution to enhance employee engagement, retention, and overall work experience.
- Learn and implement tools and techniques to streamline, optimize, and automate HR processes, leveraging technology to drive efficiency and productivity.
- Create, update, and manage the HR knowledge base to assist employees effectively, providing timely and relevant information to support their needs.
- Analyze, intake, and operationalize new employee services, from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring a seamless and supportive experience for all employees.
- Conduct system audits and testing to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and functionality, and document findings for process improvements, driving continuous learning and growth.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- Proficiency with Workday HCM tools, including experience in Mass Uploads (EIB), and a strong understanding of HR systems and processes.
- Strong project management, communication, and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, and a keen attention to detail.
- A degree in HR, Business, IT, or a related field is preferred but not required, although relevant experience and certifications will be considered.
- Strong logical reasoning skills for complex problem-solving, and the ability to think critically and creatively.
Preferred Qualifications
In addition to the essential qualifications, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset:
- Experience as a Workday Data Analyst, in HR operations, or as an HR Generalist, with a deep understanding of HR principles and practices.
- Familiarity with Zendesk or similar ticketing systems, and experience with HR software and technology.
- Certifications in HR, such as SHRM-CP or HRCI-PHR, or relevant professional certifications.
