As a Hotel Reservations Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be the primary point of contact for our clients, providing them with personalized support and guidance throughout their travel planning journey. Key Responsibilities Assist clients in researching and booking hotel accommodations, providing expert advice and recommendations to ensure they find the perfect fit for their needs and budget. Provide accurate information about hotel options, pricing, and amenities, staying up-to-date on the latest travel trends and industry updates. Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries via phone, email, or online messaging, ensuring that all interactions are handled with care and attention to detail. Maintain accurate records of client interactions, preferences, and reservations, utilizing our state-of-the-art booking tools and systems. Collaborate with other team members to ensure excellent service delivery, sharing knowledge and best practices to continuously improve our client experience. Stay current on travel trends, hotel offerings, and industry updates, participating in virtual team meetings and training sessions to stay ahead of the curve. Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and customer service skills, with a friendly, professional demeanor and strong attention to detail. The ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively is also essential, as well as basic computer skills and a reliable internet connection. An interest in travel and helping clients plan exceptional hotel stays is a must, and previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or sales is a plus but not required. Essential Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality, tourism, or a related field preferred. 1-2 years of experience in customer service, hospitality, or sales, with a proven track record of providing exceptional client experiences. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and team members. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in the travel industry, with knowledge of hotel reservations, travel planning, and industry trends. Familiarity with booking tools and systems, such as CRM software and online reservation platforms. Fluency in multiple languages, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds. Certifications or training in customer service, hospitality, or a related field, such as Certified Travel Associate (CTA) or Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR).
