What You'll Be Doing
As a Remote Member/Customer Services Advocate, you will be working directly with blithequark members in a fast-paced inbound contact center, providing exceptional service and creating sustainable relationships. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing Exceptional Service: Deliver outstanding experiences to every caller, building trust and creating sustainable relationships
- Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking: Apply problem-solving and critical thinking skills to research and communicate solutions in a variety of situations
- Handling Customer Concerns: Effectively handle customer concerns, utilizing available resources to provide accurate information and ensure empathetic resolution
- Confidentially Handling Policy Owner Information: Ensure compliance and communication standards are met when handling sensitive information
- Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure thorough and timely resolutions for all members
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Minimum 2 Years of Experience: In a customer service related position, with a high value placed on the customer/member experience; insurance/call center experience preferred
- Basic Mathematical Aptitude: Demonstrated basic mathematical aptitude (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
- Technical Aptitude: Technical aptitude with experience navigating and operating multiple computer applications and telephone technologies desired
- Basic Understanding of Life Insurance: Basic understanding and knowledge of life insurance company operations, policies, and procedures, and knowledge of various insurance products preferred
- Completion of Insurance Industry or LOMA Coursework: Completion of insurance industry or LOMA coursework preferred
- High School Diploma: Required; some college level coursework preferred
- Internet Requirements: Must possess internet with a minimum speed of 25MB download and 5MB upload and be able to support a VPN
