Key Responsibilities
- Transfer data from paper formats, computer files, recorders, or scanners into digital databases, records, and files with high accuracy and speed.
- Enter data into designated fields, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
- Handle numerical data accurately, creating and organizing spreadsheets with large numbers.
- Cure data directly from speech or interviews, and update databases or records with new information as it becomes available.
- Correct and modify inaccurate files and records, ensuring data accuracy and quality.
- Type data directly and accurately, with a high level of precision and attention to detail.
- Comply with security backups and regular checks to ensure data is saved and stored properly.
- Summarize data for standardized reports, and view and verify confidential or private customer/client information.
- Protect the information and identities of customers/clients, and maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Verify data by correctly checking and comparing source documentation.
- Organize paper formats, paper backups, and material source files as needed.
Requirements
Essential Qualifications
- High school diploma; associate's degree, or bachelor's degree in business, administration, or a related field.
- Prior experience handling data entry responsibilities or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Accurate and precise attention to detail, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Skilled knowledge in generating process documentation, and ability to assist team members when needed.
- Fast and accurate typist, with a high level of precision and attention to detail.
- Ability to speak confidently, clearly, and professionally for voice recording data.
- Understands data confidentiality principles and follows them to the letter.
Preferred Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel spreadsheets.
- Knowledge of touch typing system.
