Job Summary
We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quality Control Standards Data Analyst to join our team on a full-time basis. As a remote employee, you'll play a critical role in driving a culture of safety, efficiency, and innovation within our Quality Control division. This position involves analyzing data to identify trends, developing insights, and making recommendations to improve our processes and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and assist others in the Quality Control team with timely data collection, validation, and root cause analysis on data elements.
- Develop and communicate results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical clients and leaders.
- Provide insightful answers to ad-hoc requests arising from emerging maintenance issues, enabling senior leadership to make informed business decisions.
- Present findings, trends, and potential implications using data visualization tools to facilitate stakeholder understanding.
- Develop and distribute specific queries to pull and organize data from various sources, establishing the rhythm and validating the need for data requirements.
- Identify anomalies in processes through reviews/surveys and communicate findings to the team.
- Assess the effectiveness of processes and procedures by monitoring for trends and errors.
- Ensure that a compliance mindset is at the forefront of every decision.
- May perform other work obligations as directed by the Team Leader.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Proficient ability to gather, coordinate, and analyze critical measures of data with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey ideas and insights to diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate business issues, identify opportunities for data needs, and interpret resulting metrics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience in data visualization tools and abilities (e.g., Tableau, Alteryx, QuickBase) preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and prioritize responsibilities independently.
- Past internship experience in a related field or relevant coursework is preferred.
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
