Key Responsibilities
- Drive Sales and Margin Growth: Contribute directly to sales and margin objectives within assigned categories, analyzing key data and integrating findings and recommendations into Class Plans.
- Develop and Execute Marketing Programs: Create and implement marketing programs, including ideal SKU blend, Extracare loyalty program, and special projects.
- Analyze Sales Data and Inventory Levels: Analyze sales records and inventory levels of current stock, identifying areas for improvement and optimizing inventory management.
- Competitor Analysis and Insights: Research client product preferences, supplier costs, and the competitive landscape, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with internal teams, including Stock, Estimating, Advancement, Money, Store Brands, Store Configuration, Advertising, and Store Operations.
- Strategic Execution and Analysis: Drive strategic execution of daily assortment activities, tracking limited-time periods and performing analysis to inform corrective actions.
- Stay Up-to-Date with Market Trends: Stay current with changes in the market, identifying opportunities and challenges, and providing recommendations to address them.
Essential Qualifications
- Retail Math Concepts: Working knowledge of retail math concepts and demonstrated application.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and some experience with databases or data analysis tools.
