Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high-performing analytics team, scaling the team efficiently according to current plans to scale.
- Identify and recruit top-level talent, provide mentorship and training, and define the team's objectives, goals, and key performance indicators (KPIs) in alignment with the company's overall strategic direction.
- Define KPIs to measure the effectiveness of product features, marketing efforts, and customer engagement, and identify opportunities for product improvements and efficiency gains through data analysis, experimentation, automation, and technology enhancements.
- Apply advanced analytics techniques to extract meaningful insights from large datasets, impacting product development, marketing strategies, and design improvements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams like Product and Engineering, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to drive business results and continuous product improvement.
- Communicate complex analytical findings into actionable business recommendations in a clear and concise manner, influencing C-level leaders and stakeholders.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in driving product and customer analytics, experimentation, and insights within global top-tier technology companies, ideally in e-commerce.
- 3+ years of experience in a leadership role, building and driving data science and analytics teams.
- Proven track record of delivering effective insights, driving business results, and continuous product improvement through data-driven strategies and experimentation.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis, statistical modeling, and data visualization tools (e.g., Python, R/SAS, SQL, Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience working cross-functionally with teams like Product and Engineering, Marketing, Operations, and Finance.
- Previous C-level/Leader Board exposure, with experience contributing to and having in-depth conversations with C-level stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
