Our Accounting BI crew is a key part of this effort, helping the worldwide Accounting agency with automation, improvements, and enhancing the capacity of the accounting agency to manage, analyze, access, and consume correct and timely financial data. As a Full Stack Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in this effort, working with stakeholders and engineering groups to design, build, and implement data infrastructure, data availability, and access to customer insights through BI tools across the organization. **Job Responsibilities:** * Work with stakeholders and engineering groups to identify and scope the right data structure and technology to facilitate the evaluation of most common place Amazon customer behavioral questions. * Partner with associate engineering groups to improve data infrastructure, data availability, and access to customer insights made available through BI tools across the organization. * Design, build, and implement the right ETL methods using AWS and similar technology. * Implement anomaly detection structures to have a proactive approach to any potential data quality issues, using industry-standard frameworks. * Enable big-scale analytics using EMR and other big data technologies. * Establish and implement technology best practices that should be followed across the organization. * Work on proof of concepts for adoption of the latest technology and tools. **Essential Qualifications:** * 3+ years of data engineering experience * Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines * Experience with SQL * Experience with one or more query languages (e.g., SQL, PL/SQL, DDL, MDX, HiveQL, SparkSQL, Scala) * Experience with one or more scripting languages (e.g., Python, KornShell) **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, Spark, EMR * Experience with big data processing technology (e.g., Hadoop or Apache Spark), data warehouse technical structure, infrastructure components, ETL, and reporting/analytic tools and environments **Work Environment and Company Culture:** At arenaflex, we value diversity, equity, and inclusion.
