Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack AV Support Specialist to join our team, providing technical support for video conferencing and collaboration solutions in a remote work environment. As an AV Support Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and upgrading video conferencing equipment, software, and systems. You will work closely with our IT team, clients, and vendors to ensure seamless video conferencing experiences and provide exceptional technical support.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain video conferencing equipment, software, and systems, including Cisco CUCM, Cisco TMS, Cisco Interstates, Cisco Endpoints, Poly DMA, DMA Edge, RMX, RPRM, Work process Server, Pexip CVI, Microsoft Groups Rooms, and Poly Endpoints, Zoom video conferencing
- Troubleshoot and resolve video conferencing and collaboration issues, including hardware and software problems
- Provide technical support for video conferencing and collaboration solutions, including scheduling, setup, and teardown of video meetings
- Collaborate with IT team, clients, and vendors to ensure seamless video conferencing experiences and provide exceptional technical support
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including Run of Show documents, participation reports, and IT hardware training agendas
- Perform hardware reviews, including c-suite spaces, and ensure compliance with defined processes and procedures
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Systems, or related field
- 3-5 years of related work experience in AV support, technical support, or a related field
- Experience with video conferencing and collaboration solutions, including Cisco, Poly, and Zoom
- Strong technical knowledge of video conferencing equipment, software, and systems
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ServiceNow for incident tracking, service tickets, and change requests
- Knowledge of networking and network protocols
- Experience with Crestron, Bi-Amp and Extron, and Allen and Heath 30-station digital mixers for live sound production
- Familiarity with Vaddio type video switchers and digital camera equipment, Clear Com type audio devices, and multi-station lighting panels
