As a leader in fine arts education, we are seeking an experienced and passionate Fine Arts Lead Teacher on Assignment to join our team and play a key role in shaping the artistic and cultural landscape of our schools.
The Fine Arts Lead Teacher on Assignment is a critical position that requires a strong and diverse skillset in fine arts education, curriculum development, and instructional leadership. As a key member of our educational team, you will provide guidance, support, and expertise to fine arts teachers, administrators, and students across our K-12 schools. Your primary responsibility will be to develop, implement, and manage comprehensive fine arts programs that align with state and national standards, promote artistic excellence, and foster a love of learning among students. You will also be responsible for coordinating district-wide fine arts activities, providing professional development opportunities for teachers, and representing our fine arts programs in the community and state.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a Master's Degree in Fine Arts Education or a related field, as well as prior classroom instruction experience in both secondary and elementary levels. You will also need to hold active Michigan Teacher Certification and Michigan Administrator Certification. Additionally, you should have membership in and leadership experience in professional arts groups, as well as evidence of professional development as required by the State of Michigan.

We offer a competitive salary range of $50,000-$82,010 per year, as well as an additional signing bonus of $1,500, payable upon commencement of employment.
