About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual to fill the role of Driver Onboarding Specialist and Data Entry Clerk. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for our delivery professionals, from sign-up to activation. Key Responsibilities
- Review applications, insurance, and vehicle registration documents for accuracy and eligibility, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Conduct virtual vehicle safety inspections with qualified driver-applicants, utilizing company-provided training and resources to ensure a thorough and efficient process
- Communicate with delivery professionals via text, chat, and email about the status of their applications, providing timely and professional updates and support
- Order driver applicants' pre-employment background checks using company software, ensuring a smooth and efficient onboarding process
- Perform data entry tasks with high accuracy and attention to detail, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and databases
- Provide excellent customer service to our delivery professionals and respond to their inquiries in a timely and professional manner, resolving issues and addressing concerns in a courteous and efficient way
- Collaborate with other teams, including operations, customer service, and HR, to ensure a seamless onboarding experience and resolve any issues that may arise
- Stay up-to-date with company policies, procedures, and industry developments, applying this knowledge to improve processes and procedures and contribute to the growth and success of the company
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Associate's degree or above (preferred, but not required), with a focus on business, communications, or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in recruiting/onboarding gig app workers or working in data entry, HR, or customer service (preferred, not required), with a proven track record of success and a strong understanding of the industry
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with delivery professionals, customers, and other stakeholders
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and work independently, with a strong sense of initiative and a willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities
- Comfortable with smartphone applications and web-based applications, with a strong understanding of technology and the ability to learn new systems and software quickly
- Access to a quiet work environment, a smartphone, and a computer with reliable internet access, with a willingness to work remotely and maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with a strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities of remote work
- Knowledge of the delivery and logistics industry, with a strong understanding of the trends, challenges, and opportunities facing the industry
- Experience with data entry software and systems, with a strong understanding of data management and analysis
