Regal Rexnord, a $6.5B publicly held global industrial manufacturer, is seeking an accomplished District Sales Manager to lead the Southwest region in driving sales growth and achieving business objectives for its Power Efficiency Solutions (PES) segment. As a critical member of the sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing a team of direct and manufacturer representatives, and fostering strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
About the Power Efficiency Solutions Segment
PES is one of three operating segments within Regal Rexnord, boasting approximately $1.7 Billion in revenue. The segment produces a broad line of products, including electric motors, variable speed controls, and air moving solutions, which are sold in various markets such as residential heating and ventilating, water heating, commercial refrigeration, pump, leisure water, and other OEM and aftermarkets. With renowned brands like Genteq® motors, Fasco®, Elco®, DEC Star®, and Leeson, PES is a leader in the industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve P&L targets and manage business unit resources to deliver sales and margin targets.
- Own and drive revenue growth by identifying and securing new revenue opportunities.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to maintain existing business and capture competitive share.
- Lead talent and capability development within the sales function, including hiring, developing, and retaining top talent.
- Create and maintain solid professional relationships with key customers and Regal Rexnord stakeholders.
- Lead successful customer negotiations to develop commercial agreements that maximize competitive positioning and profitable sales.
- Contribute to sales strategy, tactics, and regular business updates.
- Build a strong cross-functional operating cadence with teams around pipeline, forecasting, deal review, execution, deployment, and revenue realization.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Technical, or a related field.
- 10+ years of industry sales leadership experience with a proven track record of success.
- Experience leading a team with direct reports.
- Strong customer orientation with the ability to build executive-level relationships.
- Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate team members.
- Successful experience building a go-to-market strategy and sales plan.
- Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
- Ability to work independently and remotely.
- High level of personal initiative and ownership of results.
- Must reside in the territory, which includes Arizona and California.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven track record of profitable growth.
- Experience in the PT, Leisure Water, or HVAC/R industries selling to OEM and Distribution accounts.
- Proficiency in Power BI.
- Experience working with 80/20, Policy Deployment methodologies.
- Experience with CRM and forecasting tools.
