As a Data Entry/Specimen Processor, you will be responsible for effectively triaging and accessioning large volumes of multiple specimen types, providing front-line phone customer service to hospital and clinic staff, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of laboratory data. If you are a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual with excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. **Key Responsibilities** * Effectively triage and accession large volumes of multiple specimen types to meet robust turnaround requirements * Provide front-line phone customer service to hospital and clinic staff, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner * Receive and sort clinical lab specimens, ensuring accurate and timely processing * Prepare specimens for testing and analysis, adhering to established protocols and procedures * Scan and/or data entry of specimen and patient information, ensuring accuracy and integrity * Ensure all lab equipment is working properly and perform minor instrumentation maintenance * Troubleshoot any specimen-related issues, escalating concerns to senior staff as necessary * Replenish test bench supplies as needed, maintaining a clean and organized work environment * Complete record logs and other administrative duties as requested, adhering to established protocols and procedures * Follow all Standard Operating Procedures to ensure safety and quality standards **Job Requirements** * High school diploma or equivalent required; some college science helpful * Good communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with hospital and clinic staff * A willingness to work in a fast-paced, high-volume laboratory environment * Data entry skills are necessary, with the ability to accurately and efficiently process large volumes of data * Experience working in the Accessioning department preferred **Essential Skills and Competencies** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with hospital and clinic staff * Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately and efficiently process large volumes of data * Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume laboratory environment, with a focus on quality and safety * Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner * Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on collaboration and communication * Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
