We're seeking a motivated and organized Data Entry Intern to join our team for a 3-month internship, with the potential for a longer-term opportunity. As a part-time member of our team, you'll work approximately 10-12 hours per week, Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, from the comfort of your own home. Key Responsibilities
As a Data Entry Intern at blithequark, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Accurately inputting data from various sources, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of data entries
- Verifying data for errors, inconsistencies, and missing information, and taking corrective action as needed
- Assisting in generating reports and extracting relevant data to support business decisions
- Updating spreadsheets for production orders to ensure order accuracy and identify incorrect order amounts
- Creating reports to support order correction and completing order adjustments as needed
- Transferring Purchase Orders into data that will support production planning and updating spreadsheets, customer order dates, and verification of order accuracy
- Supporting additional Purchase order processing, including data entry and maintenance
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
- Strong organizational skills to manage and maintain data effectively
- The ability to identify and resolve issues related to data entry, with a keen eye for detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills
