**Job Summary**
We're seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a remote basis. As a Data Entry Clerk, you'll play a critical role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date information in our databases, providing administrative support, and ensuring seamless communication with our clients and stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities**
As a Data Entry Clerk, your primary responsibilities will include:
* Preparing and maintaining accurate and up-to-date information in our databases, including documentation for filing and correspondence.
* Obtaining and verifying supporting information and documentation to ensure efficient administration of files.
* Responding promptly to queries and requests from creditors and debtors, and liaising with the administration team to resolve complex issues.
* Using Microsoft Dynamics CRM to extract file details and information, and preparing and reviewing files for completeness.
* Organizing file documents in accordance with our naming protocols, and calculating income and surplus income obligations.
* Understanding and performing relevant legal requirements of multiple provincial jurisdictions, and performing searches for insolvency, Personal Property Security Act registrations, house valuations, and computation of realizable value.
* Creating and reviewing documents for accuracy and policy compliance, and filing documents with the Official Receiver.
* Accurately transferring information from written and scanned records into Ascend (our internal software), and maintaining client confidentiality and protecting operations by keeping information confidential.
* Liaising with external clients for clarification or outstanding documents, and preparing documents for electronic filing and DocuSign.
* Reviewing amended proposals, and performing other tasks as assigned.
**Qualifications and Skills**
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* Experience performing data entry with a proven high level of accuracy.
* Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, and prioritization skills.
* Proficient technical skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word), and the ability to learn computer software quickly.
* Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM would be an asset.
* Ability to work independently and efficiently, with strong written and verbal communication skills to convey information to others.
* Good interpersonal skills to speak and deal effectively with other staff members.
