Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst and Insights Expert to join our Pack Trial and Experimentation team. As a key member of this team, you will work closely with business leaders to identify and address pressing business challenges related to pack trends and drivers. Your expertise in data analysis, statistical modeling, and experimentation will be essential in developing insightful strategies to respond to these challenges.
Your primary responsibilities will include partnering with business leaders to define key business challenges, developing a continuous insights pipeline, performing comprehensive trend analyses, and defining and analyzing audience segments to drive pack growth. You will also collaborate with other analysis teams to integrate insights from various sources and develop a cohesive story.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner intimately with business leaders to define the most pressing business challenges on pack trends and drivers and develop insightful strategies to respond to these questions
- Help to create a continuous insights pipeline, ensuring that all stakeholders have a continuous stream of pack intel
- Perform comprehensive trend analyses, assessing the contributions of drivers from every possible angle
- Define and analyze audience segments to keep driving pack growth
- Collaborate with other analysis teams to understand and leverage all relevant pack data from different sources, integrating insights into a firm, meaningful story
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong foundation in data analysis, statistical modeling, and experimentation. A bachelor's degree in Data Analysis, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field of study is required, along with at least 3 years of hands-on analytical work experience with R/Python/SAS (or another statistical analysis tool) and SQL.
You should also have knowledge of statistical modeling, machine learning, and other quantitative methodologies, including but not limited to linear and logistic regression, significance testing, data preparation for modeling, and segmentation techniques. Experience manipulating large datasets, interpreting data patterns, and using a variety of data sources and tools is also essential.
In addition, you should be proficient in data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, and others. Your analytical skills should be complemented by exceptional presentation abilities, including the capacity to tell a story with data and to organize findings into meaningful recommendations.
