As a Chat Representative at blithequark, you'll play a vital role in helping fans with ticketing, purchasing merchandise, password resets, website assistance, and troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities: Express genuine empathy and concern for customers' issues, addressing them as if they were your own Answer, evaluate, and prioritize requests from customers having questions or experiencing problems with services or products Identify high-risk customer situations and escalate them appropriately without hesitation Manage multiple chats simultaneously, accurately documenting all required information and chat details in the ticketing system Respond to and resolve open issues in an appropriate timeframe, identifying trends related to systems, platforms, and/or customers and escalating them to management as needed Maintain punctuality and attendance at all scheduled times, remaining positive and professional in all customer interactions Cross-train as requested, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances Essential Qualifications: A genuine love of music, with a strong knowledge of current music artists, particularly in the Pop and Country genres 1-3 years of call center chat experience, with technical experience strongly preferred (experience with Zendesk is a plus) Ability to type 30 wpm with 90% accuracy or above consistently, with strong messaging communication skills and active listening abilities Excellent grammar and knowledge of text and chat acronyms, with the ability to use them effectively in customer interactions Previous work-from-home experience preferred, with a great understanding of contact center support metrics and the ability to implement actions for improvement High School Diploma or equivalent required Hardware/Software Requirements: Your own computer with an Intel Core i5 5200 Series or greater processor (must have 4 cores) 8GB of memory on Windows 10 or higher (64 bits), with a screen resolution of 1280x768 or higher and dual monitors required (with webcam) USB headset and up-to-date antivirus software installed on the platform, with a recent scan completed Must be hardwired to a router with a firewall enabled (will be checked prior to allowing login to the system) Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we're committed to helping our team members grow and develop their skills.
