We are now seeking a passionate and skilled Customer Support Associate to join our EAP team, working remotely to deliver exceptional front-line support and guidance with empathy and professionalism. About the Role: Customer Support Associate – Employee Assistance Program This is a unique opportunity for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and are driven by a desire to help others. As a Customer Support Associate, you will be the first point of contact for individuals accessing our wellness and behavioral health services, providing critical support, scheduling appointments, and offering program guidance. Your role will be instrumental in ensuring that our services are delivered with compassion, understanding, and the highest level of professionalism. Key Responsibilities: Respond to incoming calls and chats from employees seeking EAP support, addressing their queries, and providing solutions with a calm and empathetic approach. Offer detailed program information, assist with appointment scheduling, and ensure seamless navigation of our care options. Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines in all interactions, ensuring the protection of sensitive information. Accurately document all interactions within our system, ensuring comprehensive records and facilitating continuous support. Escalate urgent concerns to licensed professionals as needed, demonstrating a proactive approach to addressing complex issues. Collaborate with counselors and clinical support staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive team environment, contributing to the overall success of our EAP. Maintain a solutions-oriented approach in all interactions, focusing on empowering individuals and families to achieve their wellness goals. Qualifications and Skills: To excel in this role, you will need a combination of education, experience, and personal qualities that align with our mission and values. The ideal candidate will possess: A high school diploma or GED, with an Associate’s degree being a significant plus, indicating a strong foundation in education. At least 1 year of experience in customer service or healthcare, preferably in a role that involved supporting individuals with sensitivity and empathy. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear, compassionate manner. Comfort and proficiency in managing sensitive topics with discretion, empathy, and understanding. Strong proficiency in digital tools, CRMs, and call center platforms, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies. The ability to work independently in a remote setup, with stable internet and a private workspace that ensures confidentiality and productivity.
