Key Responsibilities

• Process customer policy change requests in a timely and efficient manner
• Secure all trailing documents from customers and ensure that they are up-to-date and accurate
• Complete evidence of insurance requests and maintain accurate records
• Document each customer contact in our eAgent system and ensure that all interactions are logged and tracked
• Take premium payments from customers and process transactions accurately
• Verify phone numbers, addresses, and email addresses with each customer contact and update customer information as necessary
• Return all phone messages promptly and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain knowledge of new products and services and be able to communicate their benefits and features to customers
• Provide exceptional customer service and ensure that all customer interactions are positive and productive

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must:

• Reside in California and be eligible to work in the United States
• Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful, and be coachable
• Have an upbeat, positive, and enthusiastic attitude and be able to work well in a fast-paced environment
• Be a great self-starter with a sense of urgency and be able to prioritize tasks and manage your time effectively
• Have proficiency in multi-tasking, follow-thru, and follow-up, and be able to manage multiple customer interactions simultaneously
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

• Insurance industry or office experience and knowledge, which would be a great benefit in relating to customers and understanding their needs
• Bilingual skills, which would be a plus in communicating with customers who speak multiple languages
