Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate the benefits of generics or other appropriate therapy to patients with a goal of providing overall savings to patients and clients.
• Work closely with the Specialty Projects Team to conduct generic conversions or therapy changes on targeted medications while working closely with the patient.
• Conduct numerous adherence outreach efforts to ensure our patients are staying on their medications and remaining adherent and compliant to their therapies.
• Effectively handle incoming or outgoing phone calls to patients, clients, and other customers while proactively gaining patient and order information.
• Utilize knowledge of insurance, health care, reimbursement-related requirements for dispensing, processing of new referrals, and providing customer education.
• Perform routine assessment and problem identification with appropriate escalation to a pharmacist.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• 1 year of customer service experience handling and resolving customer needs over the phone.
• 6 months of high-volume customer service experience working in Windows, Microsoft, or another similar application.
• Must reside in the state of Nevada.
• Verifiable High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

• Previous experience in a health care or pharmacy setting.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and health care concepts.
• Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software or other similar applications.
