Job Overview
The Customer Service Representative serves as the front line to our customers, providing exceptional support and ensuring seamless communication. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound customer service calls, addressing questions, and efficiently submitting orders. Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound customer service calls with clients placing meal orders, ensuring prompt and accurate resolution of queries and concerns
- Address questions and provide exceptional customer service, demonstrating empathy and understanding of client needs
- Input order information into the appropriate client order screen, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
- Document all conversations with clients into the client information database, maintaining up-to-date and accurate records
- Ensure all assigned clients are contacted and have an order on file, proactively managing client relationships and identifying opportunities for growth
- Contact case managers via telephone, email, and/or fax when a special situation arises regarding one of their clients, demonstrating effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Work quickly and efficiently without making clients feel rushed, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively to meet performance goals
Essential Qualifications
- High school degree or GED, demonstrating a foundation in basic skills and knowledge
- 1 year of previous customer service experience, preferably in a call center or similar environment, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer support
- Previous knowledge and experience using the Microsoft Office suite (Word/Excel/Outlook), with the ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems
- Clear oral communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner
- Ability to deescalate situations and quickly resolve customer complaints, demonstrating empathy, active listening, and problem-solving skills
- Prior experience adhering to company policies and showing core values, with a strong understanding of the importance of compliance and ethics in a business setting
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year of previous call center experience, with a strong understanding of call center operations and performance metrics
- Previous experience with auto dialer, multi-line phone system, and/or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies
- Previous experience working with HIPAA policies and procedures, demonstrating a strong understanding of confidentiality and data protection
- Bilingual (English/Spanish), with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse client populations

- Repetitive motions that include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers, with the ability to work in a sedentary environment for prolonged periods
- Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting, remaining in a stationary position for prolonged periods, with the ability to take regular breaks and maintain a healthy work-life balance

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
The starting wage for this position is $17.00/hour, with weekly pay and benefits available after 30 days of employment. You will also be eligible for overtime pay, starting at 7:00 am.
