About the Role As a Customer Service Representative I - CSR at blithequark, you will play a vital role in providing top-notch service to our network of agents and carriers across the country. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver an exceptional customer experience through various channels, including phone, email, and chat. You will work closely with our team members and collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and resolve customer inquiries efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Provide a range of routine customer service and support to agents and carriers, servicing new and existing accounts in a high-volume environment. Answer incoming phone calls with a positive and service-oriented attitude, delivering a high level of customer satisfaction. Maintain a continual working knowledge of our clients' products, services, and promotions to provide accurate information and resolve customer issues. Research, resolve, and communicate information back to customers in a clear and educated manner, following standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues. Complete a variety of forms and documents based on guidelines, documenting all customer information, communications, and sales in our CRM system. Review and process applications, binders, and other documents required for policy issuance, processing policy endorsements, and handling various agent and carrier requests. Assist with creating and updating various processes, organizing policy files for proper documentation management, and working collaboratively with other team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks. Provide excellent customer service internally and externally, with a strong focus on building and maintaining solid relationships through effective communication and genuine concern for our customers. What We Look for in a Candidate To succeed in this role, you should possess a combination of excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. We are looking for individuals who are team players, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Essential Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent education. 1+ years of customer service experience, handling high-volume phone calls. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to receive and make calls with confidence. Strong organizational and desk management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. Strong multi-tasking abilities, with a focus on attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to be a team player, collaborating with customers and others within the organization to achieve common goals. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, web-based programs, and a willingness to learn new software and technologies. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in the insurance industry, with a strong understanding of insurance products and services. Experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with a proven ability to stay motivated and focused. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box. Certifications or training in customer service, insurance, or a related field, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
