Job Overview We are excited to offer an opportunity to join our Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy team as a Customer Service Representative, working from the comfort of your own home in Nevada. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about providing compassionate care and support to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug therapy. As a Pharmacy Service Representative, you will be the backbone of our operation, ensuring that patients receive their medications in a timely manner while meeting financial and clinical expectations. Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional telephone support to patients, addressing their queries, and resolving issues related to their specialty medication orders. Coordinate and process new patient medication orders and reorders, including verifying benefits and resolving any issues that may arise. Translate and enter new or refill prescriptions into our pharmacy information system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Communicate with patients to collect copay amounts, obtain authorizations, and work with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to resolve accounts receivable or clinical issues. Demonstrate superb communication skills to effectively interact with insurance companies, patients, and internal partners, ensuring the timely processing of specialty medications. Qualifications and Skills To succeed in this role, you will need: Essential Qualifications At least one year of experience in a customer service role, handling and resolving complex customer needs over the phone. One year of work experience with Windows-based applications, including Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email applications. One year of computer keyboarding experience, with skills and aptitude in typing and data entry. A verifiable high school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications Healthcare work experience and familiarity with benefits, insurance, prescriptions, and medical terminology are highly desirable.
