Job Overview In this critical role, you will be responsible for handling a wide range of customer inquiries, including claims, benefits, enrollment, member portal, ID cards, and more. As a Medicare Customer Service Representative, you will work closely with customers to resolve issues, provide support, and ensure a seamless experience. This is a 5-star service that requires a strong focus on tone, empathy, and problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities: Respond to inbound customer calls, addressing concerns and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for each member Navigate multiple systems simultaneously to access member information and resolve issues Communicate complex messages clearly and effectively over the phone, using proper grammar and professional language Work collaboratively with the team to achieve service goals and uphold the 5-star service standard Be flexible and adaptable, working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent customer-focused competencies, including strong customer service skills, empathy, and problem-solving abilities. You should have experience in call center customer service, preferably in the healthcare industry, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Essential Qualifications: Call center customer service experience, preferably in the healthcare industry Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate complex messages over the phone Strong problem-solving skills and empathy, with a customer-centric approach Ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment Achieve a score of 80% or above on the eSkills test Preferred Qualifications: High school diploma or GED, with at least 2 years of customer service experience or call center experience Healthcare industry experience, preferably in Medicare or a related field Previous experience working in a call center environment, with inbound calls Medical background or experience working in a healthcare-related field Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you should possess strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
