Job Overview We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to provide accurate and efficient member service, ensuring high levels of member satisfaction and accurate record-keeping of member accounts. As a key member of our team, you'll process various routine member interactions, including financial transactions, troubleshooting mobile banking issues, and contributing to sales goal attainment. You'll have the opportunity to obtain additional credentials in areas such as cards, fraud, and mentorship, and you'll be expected to provide members with unparalleled experiences. Key Responsibilities Process financial transactions and provide members with account information Assist with troubleshooting mobile banking issues Contribute to sales goal attainment for department and organization goals by identifying and educating members on product and service needs Provide members with unparalleled experiences Assist with meeting departmental goals along with individual performance metrics Obtain additional credentials in areas such as cards, fraud, and mentorship Mentor new hires during the onboarding process and assist peers with account-specific inquiries and escalated member concerns Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need: 0-1 years of related experience in customer service or a similar field General and business knowledge equivalent to a high school diploma Ability to successfully recognize and offer sales opportunities Attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Familiarity with PCs and applicable software Thorough knowledge of credit union products, services, policies, and procedures Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: Previous experience in a credit union or banking environment Knowledge of credit union products and services Experience with sales and customer service software Ability to speak multiple languages Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you'll need to demonstrate the following skills and competencies: Effective knowledge of credit union products and services Accountability and self-management Teamwork and leadership Communication and interpersonal skills Innovation and problem-solving Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively Career Growth Opportunities At blithequark, we're committed to helping our associates grow and develop in their careers. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive salary range for this position, with a minimum salary of $17.50+/hr.
