**The Role**
As a Customer Alarm Monitoring Agent, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our customers by monitoring alarm signals and dispatching emergency services as needed. This position requires a strong and diverse skillset, including:
* Responding to alarm signals from customers' alarm systems
* Dispatching emergency signals to police, fire, and medical agencies
* Providing world-class customer service to customers in their time of need
* Notifying customers of non-emergency signals
* Notifying account contacts of emergency signals after dispatch
* Receiving and processing inbound calls requesting information
**Responsibilities**
* Respond to alarm signals from customers' alarm systems in a timely and efficient manner
* Dispatch emergency signals to police, fire, and medical agencies as needed
* Provide exceptional customer service to customers in their time of need, responding to their concerns and addressing their needs
* Notify customers of non-emergency signals, ensuring they're aware of any potential issues
* Notify account contacts of emergency signals after dispatch, keeping them informed of any developments
* Receive and process inbound calls requesting information, providing accurate and timely responses
**Requirements**
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Ability to type a minimum of 40 words per minute
* Must be able to pass an FBI criminal background check to obtain a Burglar Alarm License in all 50 states
* One year of customer service experience preferred, but not required
**Nice-to-Haves**
* Bilingual Spanish/English speakers (additional $1.00 per hour)
* Experience in a high-stress environment
