**Job Description**
We're seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Data Associate with native-level Italian language skills to join our team. As a Machine Learning Data Associate, you'll be responsible for auditing cross-language interactions on text-based channels, reviewing and assessing the quality of machine translations in each direction, and informing on the highest priority machine translation improvement opportunities that will enhance the customer experience.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Native-level translation and localization skills in Italian
* Proficiency in testing and content reading in Italian, with the ability to document outcomes in English for stakeholders
* Utilization of Italian skills to support internal and external customers and related products
* Competence in navigating various internal tools to understand the customer journey
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Adaptability to work in a dynamic environment and willingness to change priorities on short notice
* Must be fluent in Italian and English

**Basic Qualifications**
* Fluency in Italian and English (verbal and written communication)
* 1+ years business experience in localization and translation
* Strong attention to details
* Exceptional communicational skills
* Customer service experience
* Experience working in complex and frequently-changing environments
* Ability to interpret customer need and being able to frame that as clear requirements
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Project planning experience, including project scoping, deadline-setting, backlog maintenance, and reporting
* Bachelor's Degree
* Practical knowledge of data processing needs and trade-offs
* Experience working with machine learning, Artificial intelligence, natural language understanding data

**Salary Range**
The base pay for this position ranges from $32,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $70,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
**Location**
This role is remote, and you will be working from home. However, you may be required to travel to arenaflex offices or other locations for meetings or training.
