Experienced Air Customer Service Agent – Remote US – Delivering Exceptional Travel Experiences with arenaflex

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and skilled Air Customer Service Agent to join our team at arenaflex. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support to our guests, travel agents, and internal stakeholders. Your primary focus will be on resolving air-related issues, responding to customer inquiries, and ensuring that all aspects of air travel are handled efficiently and effectively. Key Responsibilities Answer phone calls, chat messages, and respond to emails and voicemails regarding air issues, ensuring prompt and accurate communication. Amend major schedule changes, perform ticketing activities, and resolve issues related to Passenger Name Records (PNR) and airfares. Track and fix incomplete PNRs due to lack of TSA data and missing airfares, and realign pricing within PNR to collect additional revenue. Certify all air tickets issued for passengers, update the ticket match exception report, and assign ancillary services to guests as requested. Process guest entertainment, crew executive travel, VIP requests, and provide downstream communication to port agents, hotels, and ground transportation. Research air schedules booked for crew outside of budget, process last-minute crew changes, and provide next port protection coverage (flight re-accommodation) to accommodate passengers when needed. Communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and management to reduce communication-related work errors and consistently deliver on commitments to external and internal customers. Requirements To be successful in this role, you should have: Experience in the travel and hospitality industry, preferably in a high-volume call center environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as knowledge of airline reservation systems, such as Sabre. Excellent phone and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with travel suppliers, port agents, crew members, employees, and management. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, with the ability to work remotely from any location within the US (except for certain states). Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Previous experience working with airline reservation systems, such as Sabre. Knowledge of air travel industry regulations and standards. Experience working in a remote or virtual team environment. Strong technical skills, with the ability to learn new systems and software quickly.
